Golden Belt Historic District

G.B.H.D.

The Golden Belt neighborhood is located between (and including the border of) Norfolk & Western Railroad, Taylor Street, Holman Street, Morning Glory Ave. and Main Street in Durham, NC We have a rich Mill Village history that has transcended to the present. Some residents have lived in our houses for over 50 years and many have newly relocated. Our diverse neighborhood includes a variety of families, individuals, and is quickly becoming an artist sanctuary.
